Foreword

Together the above recreational groups represent hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders who enjoy getting into the country’s outdoors to hunt, fish, tramp, climb, mountain bike, kayak, and more. For many, the ability to enjoy these activities is viewed as a birth right, and a part of what makes New Zealand a great place to live.
