Call for Nominations: Shooting Discipline Representatives
The NZDA National Shooting Committee is inviting nominations for discipline representatives in the following competitive shooting categories:
- Scoped Rifle
- Sporting Rifle
- Benchrest
- Metallic Silhouette
- F-Class
- Running Boar
These roles are a great opportunity for members to contribute to the growth and smooth running of our shooting disciplines. Representatives help coordinate competitions, support fellow shooters, and ensure the sport continues to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Helping organise competitions within their discipline
- Attending major events such as the North Island, South Island, and National Championships
- Chairing shooters’ meetings at these events, including identifying rule changes
- Ensuring any domestic or international rule changes are updated in discipline rulebooks
- Sharing updates and suggestions with the National Shooting Committee
Who can apply?
Any NZDA member with experience in one of the listed disciplines is welcome to apply — either by self-nomination or through an NZDA branch nomination.
