Wednesday 1 July, NZDA lodged its written submission to the Environment Select Committee on the Conservation Amendment Bill. This is the biggest reform of conservation law in nearly 40 years, and it directly affects public access, recreational hunting and the future of the conservation estate.
We have also asked to appear before the Committee in person to speak to it.
NZDA is also making a joint submission with other recreational sector groups. We will be sharing the submission with you as soon as it is lodged.
NZDA encourages members to make their own submission, it does not need to be long. More information can be found below, including the NZDA National Access Committee discussion paper.
