Membership Manager

We're looking for someone to join the National Office team to manage our membership. A rare opportunity has come up to work in the recreational hunting industry within New Zealand’s longest standing and respected membership organisation.

Key Accountabilities


Processing membership information

Input/manage new applications.

Overall responsibility for updating membership records in Bitrix and, as relevant, Xero.

Be conversant with all membership processes within NZDA, Bitrix and Xero.

Maintain up to date and accurate membership records in Bitrix.

Membership invoicing in Bitix/Xero.

Set up and maintain user profiles and access.

Preparation for membership invoicing and refunds.

Ensure members’ information is correct and members are followed up.

Follow up members where fees have ceased and resigned members.

Process and import information received via non-centralised branches.

Correct discrepancies in Bitrix.

Run member fees accounts/invoices.

Manage and issue membership cards.

Assist with running end of quarter processes and reporting.

Receive returned emails and postal mail and update member details.

Liaising with suppliers and contracts to achieve the above.

Handling queries (phone, email and mail)

Answering membership inquiries.

Answering branch inquires.

Monitoring Bitrix inbox.


Supporting NZDA information distribution

when required, including membership email campaigns and newsletters.

National Office Newsletter (compiling and editing)


Managing NZDA office IT and liaising with our support providers.




Process resignations, including sending and receiving correspondence.

Provide membership status reports.

Process and revise contact details.

Process the returns from membership mail.

Participate constructively in the team

Work collegially and co-operatively with team members and within the wider NZDA.

Comply with NZDA policies and strategies.

Contribute to the mentoring of staff.
