1. What is my Ticket Number?

This is an online, digital raffle only. Your ticket number is your order number.

2. What if I bought multiple tickets?

If you bought multiple tickets then your order number will be entered in the draw multiple times, equal to the number of tickets you purchased.

3. When will the draw be made?

The initial plan was to draw the Hilux at the Hunting and Wildlife Expo. However to comply with DIA guidelines and ensure police supervision of the draw it will be made at the NZDA National Conference at 8.30pm as per the Terms and Conditions below. 

4. Will I receive a physical ticket?

No. The raffle is digital and online only.

 

 

Terms and Conditions

  1. Raffle Overview The prize is a new Toyota Hilux GR Sport 4WD Double Cab Ute and accessories valued at $75,423.00. The raffle is conducted by the New Zealand Deerstalkers Association Inc (NZDA) of 3 Collina Terrace Thorndon Wellington to raise funds for the recreational hunting community as part of our annual Conference and Hunting and Wildlife Expo, jointly with our host branch NZDA (Hutt Valley Branch) Inc.  The funds raised go to non-for-profit purposes and will be dedicated to the support of outdoor education, safety training, and the conservation of native flora and fauna initiatives that benefit the broader community and New Zealand’s biodiversity. The prize excludes registration, fuel, extended warranty, service contract, transfer fee, or on-road costs, as the winner is responsible for these additional on-road charges.

  3. Eligibility This raffle is open to all residents of New Zealand aged 16 years or older. Employees of the NZDA and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. The winner must be able to take delivery of the prize in person at a Toyota dealership.

  4. Raffle Period The raffle will run from [Date of Class 3 Licence or 24 May] to 13 July 2024. The deadline for purchasing tickets is 13 July 2024, at 5:00 PM.

  5. Ticket Purchase and Quantity Tickets can be purchased for $25.00 each through our online platform at https://nzda.shop/raffle. We accept the following payment methods Credit Card and Debit Card.  A ticket sales receipt will be provided upon purchase by email delivery. The total quantity of tickets offered is 15,084.

  6. Raffle Draw The raffle draw will be held on 13 July 2024 at 8.30pm at Lower Hutt Events Centre, Wellington. The draw will be conducted using a random Number Generator and will be open to the public, and overseen by a Member of Parliament or Barrister and Solicitor.

  7. Winner Notification and Claiming The winner will be notified by phone, email, and public announcement on the NZDA website and social media channels. The winner will have 3 Months from the draw date to claim the prize, being 13 October 2024. To claim the prize, the winner must present valid identification and a receipt of their ticket purchase. if the winner cannot be identified/located, after a reasonable effort, and the prize remains unclaimed 3 months, NZDA will notify the Department of Internal Afairs and the prize will then be disposed of according to the Departments directions.

  8. Prize Substitution The prize is a new Toyota Hilux GR Sport 4WD Double Cab Ute and cannot be substituted for cash or any other alternative.

  9. Cancellation If for unforeseen circumstances, in the event the raffle must be canceled, in sole discretion of the Association, ticket holders will be notified by email using the email provided at the time of purchase of the ticket, with all money refunded.

  10. Publicity The winner's name and image may be used for publicity purposes by the NZDA and Toyota. By entering the raffle, participants agree to this condition.

  11. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. The raffle is conducted by Licence issued under section 37 of the Gambling Act 2003.
